(Not) Sew Easy

I’ve been making decent progress on Devan’s Halloween costume. I am hopeful I will have it done by the end of October and can return to quilting, which is infinitely more enjoyable. Though I will admit that at one point last night I might have even been having a little bit of fun, and started thinking to myself that if I had a little girl I would probably make her all sorts of cute little dresses and tops and pants. I was so lost in my daydream of cute ruffled blouses and appliqued peasant tops with a “made by mommy” tag in them that I sewed the arm on the wrong side of the costume.

God, in all of his infinite wisdom, gave me a little boy.
