Whew

Standard

Last night was rough. Let’s just say a certain someone is acting his age. Or rather, acting OUT his age. He whined from the second I picked him up at daycare until he finially feel asleep in my arms on the couch at 8:30. I think that it was around 6:20 that I gave Craig and look and asked “Is it his bedtime yet?”

He was unhappy about many, many horrible things such as:

Not getting crackers in the car
Not getting cookies when he got home
Not being able to be outside when Dad was grilling
Wanting back inside after being outside for all of a minute
Not getting juice, milk, hot tea, pop, etc. with his dinner
Wanting down after eating two bites of dinner
Wanting to sit in our laps and eat OUR dinner-(identical to his in everyway)
Not wanting to put on pjs
Wanting the OTHER pair of pjs, even though he was asked to pick a pair to wear

I could go on, but I will spare you. I’m sure you are all familiar with the strong-willed toddler. We are hoping that he was just feeling off last night and that he will be back to his usual sweet self tonight. Otherwise we might just go a little bit crazy.
