Plugged Up

And no, this post is not about constipation. That’s what you were thinking, right? I probably could write about it since I am pregnant, but I don’t think you want to hear about it.

Anyways, did you know when Devan runs really fast you can feel his heart-beep? And one of his new favorite toys is a water gum. And his favorite thing for breakfast is cer-wal. And if he tells you a sentence I can’t understand a thing he says.

On a completely unrelated note, we took him to the doctor and he has a sinus infection and both of his ears are completely clogged with fluid again. The doctor mentioned we may want to consider looking at getting tubes placed again because he probably isn’t hearing very well. So if we decide to go that route by the time we get him in to see an ENT and schedule another surgery that should put us at about….mid-June. No problem, not like we have anything else planned for mid-June.

Or we hope it goes away and continue to watch his speech regress. I guess if ears are the worst we have to deal with, we are doing okay. Apparently he inherited Craig’s genes and not mine, at least we hope! That kid loves his gluten. And if I want to come full circle I could talk about what accidentally eating gluten does to my digestive system. But I won’t. Because that would be gross.
